Path to Prosperity

Welcome to the Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program
Florida Prepaid College Foundation and Florida Chamber Foundation

This important program is led by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation and the Florida Chamber Foundation in support of the Chamber’s Florida Equality of Opportunity Initiative. We are excited to help you learn more about how you can be a part of the solution to fight childhood poverty in Florida.

Your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, doubling the impact of your efforts, to fund Florida Prepaid College Plan scholarships for Florida’s most economically disadvantaged students in grades 9-12.

  • Education inequity is one of the 10 root causes of generational poverty identified by the Florida Chamber Foundation. More than 700,000 Florida children are living in poverty and half of those children live in 15% of Florida’s zip codes.
  • The scholarship program aims to reduce childhood poverty in our state by providing a pathway to college for students in the most poverty-stricken zip codes in the state.
  • Poverty is one of the monumental societal problems that can seem too overwhelming to tackle. But the Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program is built on our belief, shared with the Florida Chamber Foundation, that we can make a difference for Florida’s children, one college scholarship at a time.

Join us in the fight against childhood poverty in Florida and provide a pathway to higher education for our state’s most deserving students.
