Spring 2025 Scholarship Awards Empower Florida Students

This past spring, the Florida Prepaid College Foundation partnered with community organizations across the state to host more than 20 scholarship award ceremonies.

Notably, the Foundation’s Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program also reached a key milestone this spring—raising $10 million toward its $20 million goal. With every dollar matched by the Foundation for Path to Prosperity Scholarships, this achievement will help fund over 4,000 scholarships for Florida students in the state’s highest-poverty communities.

In collaboration with our donors and partners, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Take Stock in Children, the Foundation continues to invest in the success of Florida students.

Award Ceremony Spotlights

Coke Florida Awards Second Year of Refreshing Minds Scholarship℠

On June 7, Coke Florida celebrated the second year of Refreshing Minds Scholarship℠ recipients during a special ceremony at Universal Orlando Resort. These scholarships will help deserving students pursue their college dreams with confidence and support. With matching funds from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, the Coke Florida Refreshing Minds Scholarship Program represents a $2.8 million investment and will support 250 scholarships over 10 years.

Path to Prosperity Scholarships Powered by FPL

Across Florida, students received Path to Prosperity Scholarships powered by Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) , thanks to FPL’s generous support and collaboration with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Take Stock in Children.

VyStar Credit Union Doubles its Impact

VyStar Credit Union is helping build stronger futures with the Florida Prepaid College Foundation. This spring, through the Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program, they awarded 2-Year Florida College Plans to outstanding Florida students from under-resourced communities. The students were selected through a collaborative effort involving the Education Foundation for Alachua County, Jones High School and Pace Center for Girls.

Every Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program donation is matched dollar for dollar by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation, doubling the impact. Support from valued partners such as Florida Blue, Florida Power & Light Company, Coke Florida, and VyStar Credit Union has helped us award more than 1,400 Path to Prosperity scholarships to date.
